The Q&E-96 well Dye Terminator Cleanup Kit provides a high-throughput method for the removal of interfering components (unincorporated fluorescent dyes, residual salts, dNTPs, primers, and enzymes) from the post-cycle sequencing reaction.  These interfering components can effect the quality and signal strength of sequencing data. In particular, unincorporated dyes can result in dye peaks which may obscure portions of the sequencing chromatogram and interfere with base-calling accuracy of sequencing analysis software.
